Course Overview
This course is for beginners (who have never used a sewing machine before) and for intermediate level (those with some experience but still learning). This course can be done independently or is a perfect next step after one of the Beginner 'Intro to Sewing' workshops taking place in early January.
By the end of this course, you will be confident in setting up your sewing machine, tackling a commercial pattern, and you will be ready to start a sewing project of your own at home.
As of yet, the content for this course has not been decided. I am still working on patterns, but I hope to have two beautiful tops for students to make. They will be available in all sizes, ranging from 8 to 20, and pictures will be live shortly.

"I had a wonderful intro workshop to sewing at Creative Assemble. Mia is a super teacher who creates a really warm and encouraging atmosphere. I came away very proud of my tote bag! Will definitely be back."

"I did the 4 hour introductory class with Mia from Creative Assemble. It was so enjoyable. I learnt so much. Everything was organised so well. Mia is a patient teacher and packed so much into the day. She created a lovely atmosphere for all of us. We left delighted with the tote bag we made ! I would highly recommend the course to anyone who wants to start using a sewing machine. Fabulous class."
