Welcome to Creative Assemble! These Terms and Conditions set out the agreement between us and govern your use of our services. By booking a service with us, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions, please contact us at hello@creativeassemble.com

Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

  • "Client" refers to the child or adult attending a service;

  • "Business" refers to Creative Assemble;

  • "Intellectual Property" refers to any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary right;

  • "Service" refers to any workshop, course, or event offered by Creative Assemble.

 

Please note all persons under the age of 18 years of age will need to have a waiver signed by their guardian.

 

1. Bookings

Bookings made online will be confirmed by email.  A booking is confirmed when we receive online payment in full and receipt of these constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. Bookings include a non-refundable deposit of €25.

2. Payments

Creative Assemble accepts payment by PayPal, apple pay, credit card and debit card. In the unlikely event that you have payments outstanding after you or your child has attended one of our services, these will be passed to a debt recovery agency.

 

3. Offers & Discounts

Creative Assemble cannot apply discounts retrospectively and discounts must be applied at the time of booking. 

 

4. Cancellations & Amendments to Services

Cancellations due to insufficient attendees

Services will only take place where there is a minimum of six people present. The business will endeavour to advise clients of cancellations where there are not sufficient attendees. 

  • For camps and workshops, a full refund will be made.

  • For sessions within a course, the session will be rescheduled.

 

If Creative Assemble needs to cancel

If a service needs to be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions or an event beyond human control no refund will be offered but we will reschedule or else offer a gift voucher to the value of the missed session.

Should the business cancel a service for other reasons within human control a full refund will be made within 10 working days. Dates and venues are subject to change if necessary.

 

If an attendee needs to cancel

Should you need to cancel your place on one of our services the below timelines apply.

  • If cancelling before 6 weeks of the start date, a full refund will be processed minus the non-refundable booking deposit of €25.

  • If cancelling between 0 to 5 weeks and 6 days of the start date, there will be no refund but you will receive a credit note minus the non-refundable booking deposit of €25.

 

5. Attendance

Should the client miss a class due to sickness or for any other reason the fee of the service is not reduced. It is the responsibility of the client to attend the class/workshop at the correct time/date.

 

Children’s Services

If your child cannot attend a class we require written confirmation a minim of an hour before the session starts to ensure we keep our records up to date.

 

Our teachers will be on-site for at least 30 minutes after the service end time. A teacher will man the doors. Your child will not be permitted to leave the premises until a recognised family member, friend or childminder is there to collect them. Please inform the teacher if you wish to make alternative arrangements.

6. Client Information

It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure that all details provided are accurate, in particular full information including medical and other special educational needs, and emergency contact information.  If we do not have all this information before the service starts, you will not be able to attend the service

 

7. Special requirements 

The business recognises that the needs of individuals vary, and will endeavour to accommodate specific needs and/or medical conditions within our service.  It is our policy not to exclude any client due to specific needs and/or medical conditions wherever possible.

It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian/client to inform us of any medical conditions and special educational needs or disabilities, so we can discuss how best to accommodate and consider whether any reasonable adjustments can be made. The needs of each person vary so decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and depend upon the level of support each individual may require.

 

8. Illness and First Aid

The business requires that all children who are ill or infectious be kept home for the full duration of their ailment, and for 48 hours after the last symptom occurs.

All teachers are First Aid trained. In the event of an accident, first aid will be administered to children in our care, and emergency services will be called if necessary.

 

We reserve the right to exclude a client at any time prior to or during a session due to illness.  The parent/guardian will be expected to come and collect their child.

 

9. Personal Property

The client's personal property is their or their guardian's responsibility and the business is not liable for any lost or damaged property whilst attending a service. 

 

10. Insurance

All clients attending our services are covered by our Public Liability Insurance.

 

11. Photography / Filming

Please be aware that the business occasionally takes photographs/video footage of clients for promotional reasons.  If filming is due to take place, staff will inform all clients/guardians on arrival and you/ your child can be opted out if you wish.  

 

12. Parent Feedback / Complaints

If you have concerns or suggestions, please tell us; we value your feedback and use it to develop and improve our services. Please talk to the teacher teaching the service or you can contact us at hello@creativeassemble.com

13. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and other intellectual property provided to you as part of a service are the property of Creative Assemble or our licensors, unless otherwise indicated. You agree not to copy, reproduce, or distribute any intellectual property provided to you as part of a service, unless otherwise authorized by us. You also agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software or technology provided to you as part of a service.

14. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers purchased and used within Ireland must be used within 5 years of the date on which they are purchased.

 

15. Data Protection

To process your booking, we need to collect personal details about you and/or your children.  We will treat it as confidential and keep it secure, complying with all relevant legislation.  We will use your email address and telephone number to contact you with information that relates to any bookings.  

 

We would also like to use some of your details to tell you about our products and services and will ask for your consent during the registration/booking process.  You may unsubscribe at any time.
