Workshop Overview
This hands-on workshop introduces children to the fun and value of upcycling — turning something old into something new. We’ll explore simple repair and customisation techniques such as patchwork, appliqué, trims, and embroidery, giving each child the chance to make their jeans truly unique.
Children bring along a pair of jeans they’d like to work on. Together, we can shorten them, mend worn areas, or add creative touches, depending on their ideas.
No prior sewing experience is required — the workshop is designed for beginners, with all tools and materials provided (apart from the jeans). It’s a great way for children to learn practical skills, explore their creativity, and develop an appreciation for sustainable fashion.
