Workshop Overview
 
Learn how to turn your old jeans into something fresh, fun, and totally yours in this beginner-friendly sewing workshop. We’ll mix practical sewing skills with trending teen fashion — think Y2K-inspired mini skirts, casual distressed shorts, cottagecore patchwork, or subtle coquette touches like lace and bows.
 
Bring a pair of jeans (that fit you) and we’ll guide you step-by-step as you upcycle them into a skirt, shorts, or a custom piece with trims, embroidery, or other details. You’ll learn how to set up and confidently use a sewing machine, even if it’s your first time sewing.
 
The workshop is relaxed and creative, with all tools and materials provided (just bring jeans that fit, as we won’t adjust waist sizes). We’ll even take a break for hot chocolate and marshmallows to keep energy levels up.
 
If you love it, join our follow-up classes to explore more techniques and make even more fashion-forward pieces.

We are committed to using high-quality materials so that your items stand the test of time and are truly beautiful. Sewing machines are provided, but if you have your own you are welcome to bring it along just please let us know at hello@creativeassemble.com
